Michigan Dem Senator NOT HAPPY About Having to Face Kid Rock

Michigan senator Debbie Stabenow is NOT excited about the prospect of facing Kid Rock in a no holds barred Michigan Senate race.
From Billboard
After Kid Rock claimed he isn’t messing around about running for Senate in a very affirming tweet Wednesday afternoon (July 12), plenty of social media users expressed their skepticism over the rocker’s political ambition.
Just one day later, Michigan senator Debbie Stabenow hinted that she’s not exactly on board with the idea of running against a rock star.
“I know we both share a love of music. I concede he’s better at playing guitar and I’ll keep doing what I do best: fighting for Michigan,” she tweeted.
In addition to the tweet, Stabenow’s camp sent out emails to supporters that addressed Kid Rock’s Senate declaration. “We don’t know if this is real or just a publicity stunt,” the message read. “But after Donald Trump’s surprising win last year, we need to act fast.”
The email also included a link to donate to her campaign, with the words “This is urgent” closing it out. Following his initial tweet, Kid Rock wrote, “Stay tuned, I will have a major announcement in the near future” — though no telling yet if his announcement will be musical or political. Either way, clearly Stabenow isn’t taking any chances.
The Republican rebel, real name Bob Ritchie, also responded to comments from incumbent U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, a Lansing area Democrat and pianist. Asked about his possible run Tuesday, Stabenow said they both love music and conceded he’s better at guitar but said she’ll continue doing what she does best, which is “fighting for Michigan.”
Rock agreed they share a love of music – but probably not the same kind, he wrote.
“I concede she is better at playing politics than I am so I’ll keep doing what I do best, which is being a voice for tax paying, hardworking AMERICANS and letting politicians like her know that We the People are sick and tired of their bull—-!” he said.
