College Football Player Disrespects Anthem, Gets Kicked Off Team!

For over a year, the NFL has allowed and encouraged its players to disrespect America by kneeling for the national anthem in protest of “racial inequality,” setting a bad example for young fans everywhere.
Now, the effects of the NFL’s bad example are being seen on high school and college football fields across the country, but with much different results.
College and high school teams do not coddle their players like the NFL does, and have set swift and harsh examples for athletes who disrespect the anthem, something a quarterback at Albright College recently learned the hard way.
The Albright athletes decided they would stand together, as a team, for the national anthem, but backup quarterback Gyree Durante knelt for the anthem anyway, without telling his teammates, and was kicked off the team.
Durante’s actions left his team feeling betrayed, and teammate Josh Powell said, “We trusted him throughout the week, after time and time again he told us he would stand. When you can’t have a player on a team that you can trust, he’s got to go.”
Once again, the pathetic NFL could learn a valuable lesson in team spirit and professionalism from this group of college athletes.
