Look Which Hollywood Celebrity Just Attacked Trump’s Call to Gold Star Widow

As if Trump didn’t already have enough on his plate dealing with Frederica Wilson, now Tom Hanks has come out against Trump’s call to a Gold Star widow, calling it “one of the biggest cock-ups on the planet Earth.”
Seriously, when will Hollywood take a hint and stay far, far away from politics?
Did Tom Hanks not watch THIS? This is proof how the President handles calls to Gold Star Widows.
Does that sounds like a cock-up to you?
Hollywood needs to stop buying the CNN Kool-aid.
Actor Tom Hanks called President Trump’s dealings with a Gold Star family who lost a loved one in the deadly Niger ambush “one of the biggest cock-ups.”
“I’m only knowing what I read in the newspapers and what have you, and it just seems like it’s one of the biggest cock-ups on the planet Earth if you ask me,” Hanks told CNN. “This is a tragedy of the utmost consequence and it goes much longer beyond who’s going to come out on top of the news story. I think it’s very sad.”
According to an account by Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., Trump was needlessly insensitive during his condolence call with Myeshia Johnson on the death of her husband, who was killed during a reconnaissance patrol as part of an advise-and-assist mission in the west African country earlier in October. The family has backed up Wilson’s version of the call, while the Trump and the White House disputes it.
Hanks made the comments at the National Archives Foundation’s annual gala on Saturday night in Washington, D.C., during which he was honored with its “Records of Achievement Award.”
He also remarked on the broader political climate in the U.S., saying “people are upset about what’s going on today.”
“They’re furious, they’re frustrated, they’re worked up,” Hanks said. “If you’re concerned about what’s going on today, read history and figure out what to do because it’s all right there.”
