UFC President Dana White – One ‘Sick Coward’ Should Not Change Our Way of Life

While the media and democrats are rushing to politicize the Vegas massacre into a referendum on gun control, UFC President Dana White is a voice of reason.
From FoxNews
Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White said Saturday’s UFC 216 event will go on despite the mass shooting that left 58 people dead and more than 500 wounded.
The event, which features an interim lightweight title fight between Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee and a bout between UFC Flyweight Championship Demetrious Johnson and Ray Borg, will take place at the T-Mobile Arena, just a mile away from where gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire on an outdoor music festival on Sunday.
On “Your World,” White said the Las Vegas community has come together after that “disgusting act of cowardice,” and they’re not going let one person’s evil act change their way of life.
“You can’t stop living your life. There are sick cowards everywhere,” White said. “This is the life we live right now. This is the world we live in. And you just can’t hide from these people.”
He said the problem with many of these attacks, whether they’re carried out with guns, cars or explosives, is that they are unimaginable.
“It’s always something that you can’t even wrap your brain around and imagine,” White said. “As time goes on, we’re going to get better at securing people and making it safer for people to go out and enjoy themselves.”
He said the UFC is committed to helping in the recovery and healing process, and will donate $1 million to the families affected by the tragedy.
