Woody Allen Walks Back ‘Weinstein Support’ After Massive Backlash

Actor Woody Allen has been forced to walk back his support after “feeling sorry” for accused rapist and Hollywood pervert, Harvey Weinstein, once he received massive backlash from the public.
Allen has now “clarified” his earlier comments, now saying what he meant to say was the movie mogul is a “sad, sick man.”
Woody Allen is another Holywood “perv,” so we find this “clarification” hard to believe.

“When I said I felt sad for Harvey Weinstein I thought it was clear the meaning was because he is a sad, sick man,” Allen told Variety in a statement.
“I was surprised it was treated differently. Lest there be any ambiguity, this statement clarifies my intention and feelings,” he added.
On Saturday, Allen told the BBC that “the whole Harvey Weinstein thing is very sad for everybody involved.”
“Tragic for the poor women that were involved, sad for Harvey that his life is so messed up,” he said. “There’s no winners in that. It’s just very, very sad and tragic for those poor women that had to go through that.”
He added that he hoped the revelations about the pervy producer would improve the situation — but warned against a “witch hunt.”
